A Bolder Way Forward – Weber County is a local movement aligned with the statewide initiative to advance equity and opportunity for women and girls. In Weber County, we bring together community members, nonprofits, educators, business leaders, and government partners to tackle the systemic barriers that hold women back—especially those in underserved and historically marginalized communities.
Our focus is on five key areas: leadership, economic empowerment, education, health, and safety. We work to expand access to affordable childcare, promote women in leadership roles, support small women-owned businesses, and create pathways to financial independence and well-being. By fostering local collaboration and leveraging county-specific data, we develop bold, targeted solutions that reflect the needs and strengths of our diverse communities.
Change happens at the local level—and in Weber County, A Bolder Way Forward is about action, accountability, and ensuring that every woman and girl has the tools and support to thrive. Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive future for all.
