SUMMARY:Women in Business Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Join us in July for another incredible Rising Stars Luncheon! \n\nThis luncheon is to expose our future Rising Stars to networking and professional development. We encourage you to bring your daughters and other young ladies (ages 10-18) in your life to this luncheon. And while we often think of Rising Stars as the youngest women in our lives\, they can also be those just starting out in their careers\, returning to the workforce\, or switching careers.\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Christina Myers\, with Myers Mortuaries\n\nWhat if Christina Myers\, a young woman from a small town in Sweden\, had never taken the courageous step to become a foreign exchange student at Weber High School? Or later chosen to serve a welfare mission in Ecuador\, where she discovered that a life of service is limitless.\n\nWhat if she had let infertility end her dream of having a family instead of persevering\, earning a graduate degree\, teaching at Weber State University\, welcoming four remarkable children\, adopting two orphaned boys from Kazakhstan\, a young triple-amputee\, and homeless youth in need of hope?\n\nWhat if the heartbreaking loss of her youngest daughter to cancer had caused her to step back instead of step forward? Instead\, anchored by faith\, Christina and her husband served as mission leaders in Mexico\, led humanitarian efforts in Ecuador\, helped build a community center\, and inspired countless others through a lifetime of service.\n\nOne courageous decision became another. One act of compassion became a lifetime of impact. Christina has turned "What if?" into "Why not?"\n\n \n\nIn order to guarantee food count\, registration will close July 21 at noon.
