Register today.\n\n\n\n\n\nUsing the Power of Positive and Purpose to Rise Above Depression\n\n\n\nJodi Orgill Brown\, Amplio Development\n\n\n\nNEW LOCATION this month\n\nCopper Nickel Events\, 2450 Grant Avenue\, Ogden\, Utah 84401\n\n\n\nJodi Orgill Brown has dedicated 20 years of her life and career to giving\, through nonprofit management\, writing\, and speaking. But the greatest lessons she learned about giving came when she was on the receiving end of the equation\, battling a tumor around her brainstem. \n\n \n\nShe earned a Master?s degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree from BYU in Public Relations. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and nonprofit consultant. Her clients and business partners include the U.S. Department of Defense\, the Christopher Reeve Foundation\, the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome\, Intermountain Health Care\, Weber Human Services\, and One Refugee.\n\n \n\nJodi's memoir\, The Sun Still Shines\, won multiple awards\, including the national Storymakers competition and the Gold Quill for nonfiction. She has since release two additional books\, Rise Above Depression and Imperfect Paul E. Peterson\, a story about a fourth grader who gets bullied. Jodi believes every person can help solve the issues facing society\, even those like depression and bullying. She is a professional speaker and has inspired thousands to give\, to be authentic\, and to discover their own strengths and purpose. \n\n \n\nJodi has lived in Israel and on both coasts of the United States\, and she believes people are inherently the same on the inside\, desiring meaningful relationships and a voice to make a difference.\n\n\n\nLunch Provided By:\n\n\n\n\n\nThe nonprofit spotlight will be Ogden Downtown Alliance!
