DESCRIPTION:Join us for a conversation (not a lecture) on the Future of Work! A light breakfast will be provided from 8 am - 8:30am. Our three invited experts will then engage with attendees on the Future of Work.\n\n\n\nABOUT THE EXPERTS\n\n\n\nED EHRENBERGER:\nEd has extensive background in Logistics\, Distribution\, and Supply Chain Management spanning more than 40 years\, including 20 years at United Parcel Service with 18 of those years in supervisory and management positions in Hub Operations\, Package Delivery\, Air Operations\, and Industrial Engineering.\n\n \n\nEd has spent the past 22 years working for FedEx Supply Chain\, formally GENCO\, where he has managed four major greenfield distribution center start-ups in Illinois\, Pennsylvania\, Canada\, and Utah.  In 2008\, Ed moved to Utah to manage the start-up of the Hershey Chocolate West Coast Distribution Center in Ogden\, Utah.\n\n\n\nEd was born and raised in Traverse City\, Michigan\, and has lived in Ohio\, Texas\, Illinois\, Pennsylvania\, and Utah. He is married to his lovely wife\, Joni\, and resides in Syracuse\, Utah. Together they have five children\, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.\n\n\n\nJENNY BANGERTER:\n\nJenny's career path has included plenty of variety! She's owned her own health and wellness business\, founded a commonwealth academy\, directed and produced several theater and music programs\, documentary films\, and put on an international leadership and development conference for the Arbinger Institute.  Jenny loves anything and everything that has to do with people and currently works for Spherion Staffing and Recruiting as a Business Development Manager. She loves adventure\, sunshine\, fast cars\, and her 5 kids.\n\n\n\n\n\nJIMMY MCDONOUGH:\n\nJimmy McDonough is the Director of Higher Education Initiatives in the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education\, Talent Ready Programs. In this role\, he works closely with industry and Utah's public higher education intuitions to identify and develop strategies to address workforce talent needs. Jimmy brings over two decades of experience in workforce development and career technical training as an administrator with the US Department of Labor\, Job Corps programs.  He has worked with various state and local governments\, employers\, and social service agencies nationwide to create and enhance existing programs that meet employer demands and provide the necessary skills for employees to be competitive in the workforce.  \n\n\n\nJimmy graduated from La Salle University\, where he earned a BA in Public Administration\, and St. Joseph's University\, where he earned an MS in Training & Organizational Development. Jimmy lives in Syracuse\, Utah\, with his wife and two sons. Originally from a small town outside Philadelphia\, PA\, Jimmy is passionate about equity in education and developing educational opportunities that positively impact participants and their communities.
