Network with Chamber members and guests while enjoying refreshments and prizes as you check out the Sheriff's new building. \n\n\n\nGet to Know the Sheriff\n\nWeber County Sheriff Ryan Arbon was born and raised in Pleasant View\, Utah. He graduated from Weber High School in Pleasant View. Sheriff Arbon entered the Utah Police Academy in 1997\, and upon graduation\, started his law enforcement career with the Weber County Sheriff's Office working as a Bailiff. After a few months with the Sheriff's Office\, he married his wife and moved to Missouri. While living near Jefferson City\, he worked as a Marshall for the State of Missouri and earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduating\, he and his family moved back to Utah. \n\n\n\nSheriff Arbon worked for Clearfield City for about 14 years\, serving in multiple leadership and supervisor positions. During that same time\, he was the owner/manager of multiple successful small businesses which included property development\, property management\, and construction. In 2016\, he was hired as Chief of the Perry City Police Department. In November of 2018\, he was elected as Sheriff to serve this great county.
