DESCRIPTION:Registration closes Friday\, February 2nd.\n\n\n\nAbout the Event:\n\nThe Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize achievements of the local business community each year at Weber County's premier business event\, the Annual Gala.\n\nThe business community at large is invited to celebrate Chamber members who have been nominated and selected for signature awards\, including: Small and Large Business of the Year\, Volunteer of the Year\, Chairperson of the Year\, the Sue Westenskow Education Award\, the ATHENA Leadership Award and the Wall of Fame. The official change in Ogden-Weber Chamber board officers also takes place at the Annual Gala.\n\nChamber partners receive free admission:\n\nCornerstone: 10 tickets\n\nKeystone: 10 tickets\n\nGold: 6 tickets\n\nSilver: 2 tickets\n\nBronze: 1 ticket\n\nTo register as a partner\, call Heather at 801-621-8300 Ext. 109\n\nNew this Year:\n\nWe are excited to announce new changes to the Annual Gala in 2018! This year's program will take place inside the elegant Peery's Egyptian Theater\, where we will recognize the award nominees. After the program\, guests will celebrate the night at the After Party inside the Ogden Eccles Conference Center.\n\nWe are also excited to introduce a new award to the lineup   the Chamber Impact Award. This award will be presented to a Chamber member who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of the Chamber as a whole.\n\nFAQ:\n\nWhat is the attire?\n\nBest dress\, black-tie optional. This is a formal affair (think\, Academy Awards!).\n\nWhen should I arrive? Is 6:00 p.m. the program start time?\n\nDoors to Peery's Egyptian Theater will open at 5:30 p.m. The program will start at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Attendees will want to be seated at this point.\n\nHow will guests be seated during the program?\n\nGuests will receive an assigned seat for the program upon checking in at Peery's Egyptian Theater.\n\nWhat happens during the program?\n\nChamber members who have been nominated for awards\, such as Small Business of the Year\, will be recognized and one winner in each category will be revealed during the program. Award winners will be called to the stage to collect a physical award (like the Academy Awards\, or the Oscars). Guests will also witness the transition of the Chamber Board Officers.\n\nWhy is there an After Party?\n\nThe Annual Gala format has changed to incorporate two venues instead of one. The After Party is the portion of the event where guests will enjoy food and beverages\, live entertainment and socializing. This has previously been an event in which guests were seated for the entire length. The After Party allows for a more exciting atmosphere and easier networking\, in addition to the traditional program. This change was made to benefit guests.\n\nWill there be a plated meal?\n\nDinner will not be served as a plated meal\, but will instead be served at various food stations throughout the After Party\, allowing for a much more social and energized atmosphere. There will be enough food to constitute a dinner.\n\nCan I reserve a table at the After Party?\n\nThere will only be reserved tables for a few select sponsors. Otherwise\, you can expect a variety of seating arrangements\, such as sit-down large round tables for 10\, cocktail tables and bistro tables. You'll find that networking will be made much easier in this atmosphere.\n\nWhere can I park?\n\nParking will be available at no charge in the covered parking lot behind the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. Please let the attendant know you are a guest of the Ogden-Weber Chamber and are attending the Annual Gala.
